IA-ITB Congress Held Fair Job of Earlier Year
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - after graduating from College, the students should determine the choice either continuing higher education on secondary master's degree, doctorate, or a plunge in the world of careers. With scientific developments in Indonesia and the easier human mobility, more and more students who have passed decided to pursue high education both domestically or country people. However, not a few others chose to explore the professional fields to apply the knowledge that had been acquired during the educated in college. In the middle of Indonesia's economy uncertainty at this time, the number of employment opportunities offered has decreased, while the number of graduates from universities in Indonesia is increasingly growing. Based on the foregoing, the Congressional Alumni Association-Institut Teknologi Bandung of West Java region (IA-ITB West Java) in cooperation with Garuda Organizer hosted a Job Fair of earlier year: Mega Career Expo 2016 Bandung, housed in the buildings of Sasana Budaya Ganesha on Friday-Saturday (15-16/01/2016) at 10.00-16.00.
This Job Fair of earlier year activity, was one of a series of activities organized by the Congress of IA-ITB. A series of activities related to the election of the Chairman of the Executive Board of West Java have been region starts in December which consists of the Chairman of the Executive Board Nominee Hearing activities areas, This Job Fair of earlier year, and Voting the Chairman of IA-ITB. According to the Chairman of the Congress IA-ITB of West Java Organizer, namely Titus Deus p., S.T. (Mining Engineering 2002), the purpose of the annual This Job Fair of earlier year is to assist and facilitate the young alumni ITB as well as society in general getting the career you want. This Job Fair activities participated by up to seventy companies, among them: Bank Central Asia, Indofood, Smart Telecom Telecom, and others.
Chairman of the Congress of the IA-ITB of West Java Organizer said that activities such as this can be as a foundation or a model in the future, where IA-ITB should think of ITB alumni over time through the sharing of the benefit thus indirectly can increase participation, especially for young alumni of IA-ITB because they can experience the benefits and the presence of IA-ITB. This Job Fair of earlier year followed by more than a thousand ITB alumni and thousands of people, not only from Bandung but also from outside Bandung. Afif Udin Ahmad (Mathematics 2009) which is one of the participants job fair said, "With this, attending the job fair can open a vast insight about companies that offers career and opened an opportunity for the future."
