Supporting the Enhancement of Students IT Capability Through MoU Signing
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - On Wednesday (06/12/12), ITB signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ITB and Power Innovation Indonesia (PII). Taking place at Rapim A Room, ITB CCAR Building, the MoU was signed by the Director of Directorate of Information System and Technology (DSTI) ITB, Ir. Yudi Satria Gondokaryono, M.Sc, Ph.D, and the Director of PII, Adi Surata Ginting. This MoU is about development program for students and Indonesian human resources through IT training center.
PII is a company that engage in the implementation of ERP or computer-technology-based business consultant. PII wants to cooperate with ITB because they think it is necessary for students to have better preparation during university year. In order to be professionals in IT, students need applicable knowledge. Other knowledges learnt previously need to be strengthened so that it is more applicable in working environment or industry. Companies will consider applicants who attach not only their diploma but also other certificates on other applicable capabilities
With this MoU signing, it is expected that more ITB students will graduate with specific competencies, especially in IT. The competency is expected to affirm the quality of ITB graduates in industry.
