ITB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., met with the Founder of Triputra Group, Dr. (H.C.) Ir. Theodore Permadi Rachmat, in Jakarta on Monday (September 22, 2025). Dr. Rachmat is an alumnus of ITB’s Mechanical Engineering program, class of 1961. In 2019, ITB awarded Dr. Rachmat an Honorary Doctorate during the 99th anniversary celebration of Higher Technical Education in Indonesia (PTTI) at the West Hall, ITB Ganesha Campus. The honorary degree recognized his remarkable contributions to the advancement of science, technology, and the arts, as well as his deep dedication to the prosperity, welfare, education, and future of the Indonesian nation.
