The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto, and the Rector of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Tatacipta Dirgantara, officially opened the series of events comprising Akulturasa, the 67th Dies Natalis Celebration, and Alumni Homecoming at Lapangan Miring and Aula Timur, ITB Ganesha Campus, on Saturday (June 20, 2026). The events served as a vibrant gathering that brought together the ITB academic community, alumni, industry partners, creative communities, and the public in a warm, festive, and collaborative atmosphere.

Akulturasa 2026 is a festival that showcases collaboration across science, technology, art, culture, industry, alumni, and the wider community, with a focus on sustainable food innovation and future food security. Inspired by the fusion of culture and taste, Akulturasa offers an immersive experience that connects research outcomes with everyday life through culinary arts, artistic expression, and cultural heritage.

Meanwhile, Alumni Homecoming provides a platform for alumni from different generations to return to campus, reconnect with their alma mater, reminisce about their student years, strengthen friendships, and foster broader collaboration between ITB and its alumni community.
