Rektor Hadiri dan Apresiasi Jazz Aula Barat #9 "Legacy in Motion"

The Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., attended Jazz Aula Barat #9 “Legacy in Motion” on Saturday (22 November 2025) at Aula Barat, ITB Ganesha Campus. The event featured various jazz musicians across generations, including performances by the ITB Jazz student unit. Prof. Tata expressed his appreciation for the event, noting that it serves as a platform for students to develop their artistic talents beyond academics.

Jazz Aula Barat (JAB) is a celebration of music, history, and the warm jazz community at ITB. Since its inaugural edition in 2013, JAB has become a space where rhythms, stories, and generations intertwine in a timeless harmony. This year, Jazz Aula Barat #9 carries the theme “Legacy in Motion,” a reflection of jazz’s long journey—constantly moving and evolving while remaining true to its roots.

Jazz Aula Barat #9 was enlivened by performances from Ermy Kullit, Sandhy Sondoro, and Margie Segers as the headliners, along with special performances by Mahanada, ITB Jazz, Nicho Benito, and Imelda Rosalin (who also served as the curator of Jazz Aula Barat), as well as a grand performance by the Salamander Big Band under the direction of Devy Ferdianto.
