TB Rector Opens the 2025 MDGB-PTNBH Meeting, Encourages National Talent Readiness

Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., officially opened the national meeting of the Assembly of Professors of State Universities with Legal Entity Status (MDGB-PTNBH) held at Aula Timur, ITB Ganesha Campus, on Thursday (20 November 2025). This year, ITB served as the host of the meeting, carrying the theme “Equitable Education to Create a Competent and Excellent Generation.”

During the meeting, the ITB Rector expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in ITB and emphasized the strategic role of professors in generating scientific thought, upholding noble values, and shaping the direction of higher education policy amid rapidly changing times. The forum, attended by key stakeholders—including the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology—also highlighted the importance of integrating artificial intelligence into higher education, institutional readiness in facing digital transformation, and strengthening national talent competencies to compete at the global level. It is hoped that the recommendations produced will serve as a foundation for strengthening higher education policies that are adaptive, visionary, and equitable.
