ITB Rector Serves as Speaker at the Presidents Roundtable Forum of the iUNRC

ITB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., was one of the speakers at the Presidents Roundtable Forum of the iUNRC, held in China on Thursday (June 12, 2025), with the theme “Cross-Border AI Collaboration: Co-Building a New Ecosystem of Education, Science & Technology, and Talent for Belt and Road Universities.” He presented ITB’s approach to supporting cross-border collaboration in artificial intelligence and global talent development.

ITB was also officially inaugurated as a member of the University Network for Research Collaboration: A Belt and Road Science and Technology Initiative (iUNRC), an international consortium that promotes cross-border research collaboration. The membership was formalized during the 2nd Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange, held in Chengdu, China, on Thursday (June 12, 2025).

ITB’s participation in the iUNRC marks a concrete step in its journey toward becoming a 4th Generation University—an institution that excels not only in education and research but also plays an active role as a catalyst for innovation and global solutions through strong international networks.
