ITB Rector Inaugurates PSPPI Program in Collaboration with Pertamina to Strengthen National Energy Human Resources

The Rector of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., attended the opening of the Professional Engineer Program (Program Studi Program Profesi Insinyur/PSPPI) conducted in collaboration with PT Pertamina on Thursday (8 January 2026) at Sasana Budaya Ganesa (Sabuga).

On this occasion, the ITB Rector emphasized the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and industry in strengthening high-quality human resources in the national energy sector. He stated that this synergy goes beyond the awarding of professional titles, representing a concrete alignment between industry professional standards and academic scholarship to address the challenges of Indonesia’s energy trilemma.
