Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), together with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek), strengthened exploratory discussions on strategic collaboration with Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) in the development of clean energy and sustainable industrial technologies. The discussions took place during a visit by delegations from Kemdiktisaintek, NEDO, and PT TMMIN on Thursday (8 January 2026) at the Rapim A Meeting Room, ITB Rectorate Building. Prior to the meeting, the Kemdiktisaintek and NEDO delegations also visited the ITB Innovation Park, Summarecon, Bandung. This engagement served as a platform for dialogue to bring together government policy, university research capacity, international research institution support, and industry needs in addressing the challenges of transitioning toward a low-carbon industrial ecosystem.
