Her dense nonacademic activities do not hinder her spirit to excel in academics. During her interview with the ITB PR Reporter, Ale shared some of her studying tips.
During his studies at SBM, Ale found a learning method that helped her achieve good grades. Ale expressed that she likes to begin her day by writing all activities that she wants to do on that day. In addition to that, she often brings references from the lecturers in the form of a textbook before the lecture begins. This ensures that she is ready and can understand lectures more easily. During a lecture, Ale also likes to write important points using an application called Notion App.
"Utilize the help from the lecturer's assistant as well as you can and never become a deadliner so that you can have the optimum experience and achieve the best result. Then, the importance of a friendship circle or choosing a constructive friendship that matches your pace of learning," she added.
Undoubtedly all her efforts were fruitful. Only 0,02 from the perfect GPA, Ale became a student with the highest GPA. Ale expressed her strategy in earning perfect index in every course, that is by doing the tasks that were given by the lecturer as best as she can aside from the Mid-Term Test and End-Term Test. Even when Ale only managed to earn an AB grade in two of her courses in the first and fourth semesters, this in turn made her more eager to study and became an evaluation for her to never repeat the same mistake.
Ale's plan after graduating is to look for work. Ale also wants to continue her education after is already working in a company so that she can work and study at the same time.
A mindset that Ale always held is "go with it, everything will pass" because she believes that everything will pass and become a valuable experience in her life. Ale is also not the type of student that is ambitious in academics, she always took time to do her hobby while also not forgetting her duties as a student.
"Good GPA is an advantage for yourself but does not reflect your value. GPA is only a key to open the lock for your early career," she said.
