1,581 New Students Have Passed SBMPTN ITB

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) welcomed 1,581 new undergraduate students through the Joint Entrance Test for State University (SBMPTN). Students could view the announcement starting from Monday (14/06/21) at 15.00 WIB on https://pengumuman-sbmptn.ltmpt.ac.id and https://sbmptn.itb.ac.id.
The 1,581 students filled up 7.8 percent of the total number of applicants registered to ITB through SBMPTN. In SBMPTN 2021, the ITB faculty/school that accepted the largest number of students was the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), which accepted 190 people.
The strictest faculty/school, or the one with the lowest acceptance ratio, is the School of Business and Management (SBM). Meanwhile, the least strict or the one with the highest acceptance ratio was the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) Cirebon Campus.
Re-registration of ITB new students admitted through SBMPTN 2021 would be held online on June 17-26, 2021. Information regarding the implementation and requirements of which could be obtained on the https://admission.itb.ac.id/home/hasil-seleksi page.
ITB received prospective undergraduate students for the academic year 2021 to 2022 through three pathways: the National Selection for State Universities Entrance (SNMPTN), Joint Selection for State University Entrance (SBMPTN), and the ITB’s Independent Selection (SM - ITB). Each of these pathways had its capacity allocation: SNMPTN (36.1%), SBMPTN (34.5%), and SM-ITB (29.4%).
Participant registration for the Independent Selection (SM)-ITB route was ongoing until June 20, 2021. Information on the three new student admission selection pathways could be obtained on the https://admission.itb.ac.id/ page.
