ITB Inaugurates 1.854 Graduates on the April 2022 Graduation Ceremony

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id—Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held their hybrid ITB Graduation for Academic Year 2021/2022 in the ITB West Hall (Aula Barat) on Saturday (23/4/2022). At this April 2022 Graduation, there were a total of 1.854 graduates; 54 from the Doctoral Program, 937 from the Master’s Program, 284 from the Engineering Professional Program, and the rest of 579 are from the Undergraduate program.
This was stated in the ITB Rector's Decree which was announced by the ITB Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. Jaka Sembiring, M. Eng.
Prof. Jaka stated that there were 108 from 579 Bachelor Program graduates with cum laude predicates, with 58% of them being men and 42% of them being women. Two graduates received the highest GPA of 3.92, them being Lulu Intan Fatmawati from Metallurgical Engineering and Zudika Andrian Siaahat from Electrical Power Engineering. The youngest undergraduate program graduate was Sheryl Givani from the School of Business and Management at the age of 19 years and 9 months.
In the Master’s Program, there were 293 from 937 graduates with cum laude predicates, with 59% of them being men and 41% of them being women. A total of 16 graduates received the highest GPA of 4.00. The youngest master’s graduate was Nisrina Fitri Nurjana from the School of Life Sciences and Technology at the age of 21 years and 3 months.
In the Doctoral Program, there were 23 from 54 graduates with cum laude predicates, with 54% of them being men and 46% of them being women. A total of 4 graduates received the highest GPA of 4.00. The youngest doctoral graduate was Ibnu Maulana Hidayatullah from the Faculty of Industrial Technology at the age of 27 years and 9 months. Lastly, there were 284 graduates from the Engineering Professional Program, 89% of them being men and 11% of them being women.
After the reading of the Decree, ITB Rector Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., took the graduate pledge and inaugurated the graduates. “Congratulations to all the Undergraduate, Master’s, Doctoral, and Professional Program graduates in this Second Graduation Procession for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. I hope you all can keep innovating and never stop learning to fill your lives, keep thinking out of the box, increase your leadership spirit, and also strengthen your solidarity to make a real contribution for the nation and state of Indonesia. In Harmonia Progressio,” he said.
In addition to the speech from the Rector and the reading of the decree, the April 2022 Graduation ceremony was also filled with speeches from the 12 ITB Faculty/School Deans, graduate representatives from each program, and farewell speeches from graduates.
