Bandung, itb.ac.id - In a bid to strengthen its academic and scientific standing in Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) has achieved top-tier recognition in scientific reputation based on SCIVAL and SINTA data. This accomplishment is supported by ITB's high scores in "Top Tier (Q1) Publications/Faculty" and the highest number of citations per faculty member, demonstrating the excellence and impact of the research conducted at the institution.
ITB's success is closely linked to its productive collaborations with renowned universities worldwide, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge. These partnerships have led to high-impact joint publications with significant Journal Impact Factor (JIF).
Professor I Gede Wenten, ITB's Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of scientific excellence as a core element of ITB's success. "Our commitment is to create an academic environment that encourages innovation and high-quality, internationally relevant research. We strive not only to produce high-quality research but also to ensure that these outcomes are beneficial to society at large."
In addition to its research endeavors, ITB continues to innovate by developing research infrastructure and facilities and launching multidisciplinary academic programs such as Nanotechnology, Health Technology, and Digital Technopreneurship at ITB's Jatinangor Campus. These initiatives are part of ITB's strategy to adapt to and respond to global dynamics and rapid technological advancements.
ITB's achievements in maintaining high scientific standards not only reinforce its position as a leader in research and innovation but also demonstrate its commitment to building a culture of scientific excellence.
