Startup of ITB LPIK Enters Global Top 5 Social Media Analytics Provider

BANDUNG, lpik.itb.ac.id – The startup of ITB LPIK (Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development) made by its alumni, Kazee, is in the top five startups in the world that provide social media analysis.
The news was reported by StartUs Insights, a leading data-science company that regularly tracks information about innovation, startup, and technology developments. The startup recently analyzed data using the StartUs Insights Discovery Platform powered by Big Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI), covering 2,093,000+ startups and upscaling their scope globally.
The platform can provide a bigger picture of new technologies and relevant startups in a particular field quickly and in an up-to-date manner.
Among a sample of 1,330 global startups in social media analytics, as referred in The Global Startup Heat Map, StartUs Insights reveals the top five startups that provide social media analytics based on year of establishment, location, fundraising, and more. One of them is Kazee itself, which manages B2B big data in marketing, sentiment analysis, and competitor-insights in the financial, media, and real estate industries
The other four startups mentioned are the following:
1. Catalytics (India), which provides retail analysis for the logistics and FMCG industries.
2. NeenerAnalytics (US) provides credit default prediction for fintech and real-estate.
3. Astroscreen (UK) to predict and prevent acts of terrorism and social media crime.
4. ViralStat (Poland), which offers cross-platform analysis for Social Video Intelligence and content detection in marketing and entertainment.
According to ITB LPIK, Kazee joined ITB LPIK between 2016-2018. Kazee is engaged in Big Data and AI-Powered Decision Intelligence, developing social media analytics to provide strategies in decision-making, especially for B2B.
The solutions offered by Kazee are displayed in dashboards that show all insights and recommendations. Through sentiment analysis, Kazee helps in gauging public opinion towards its clients' brands and products while monitoring related accounts, hashtags, and keywords.
Through the information generated through Kazee, clients can shape, update, increase, and strategize brand awareness, popularity, and campaigns of companies or competitors. The solution insights generated also allow clients to understand the business company's business to improve their positive digital steps.
