STEI ITB Held ICEEI 2015 in Bali

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - As if it cannot stop being the pioneer of technology development in various fields of study, ITB held an international conference on electronics. International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI) 2015 was held for two days on Monday and Tuesday (10-11/08/15). The event held by School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) ITB is a form of cooperation between STEI ITB and Faculty of Science and Information Technology of Univesiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This event aimed to provide a forum for researchers, scientists, and technocrats around the world to exchange ideas and discuss latest electronics-and-informatics-related issues. This year's ICEEI presented six experienced keynote speakers from all over the world. 
These six keynote speakers in this conference were Dr. Muhammad Reza (Electrical Engineering ITB 1997), Prof. Bambang Riyanto Trilaksono (Electrical Engineering ITB 1986), Prof. Stanislaw Gubanski (Chalmers University of Technology Göteberg), Prof. Masayuki Hikita (Nagoya University, Japan), Prof. Mahamod Ismail (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia), and Prof. Guan-Juan Zhang (Xi'an Jiaotong Technology University, China). Each speaker disscussed certain topics about basic knowledge and practical application of electronical engineering and informatics.
This conference also comprised paper session that published papers about electronics and information technology (IT). Papers that were able to be presented were ones that won the paper contest preceding this conference. The topics of the competition were mainly about power engineering, telecommunication, information engineering (IE), computer engineering, biomedical engineering, control systems engineering, software and database engineering, electronics, and informatics.
This conference that was held in Legian, Bali also provided parallel session. The first day of ICEEI 2015 featured Prof. Bambang, Dr.Muhammad Reza, and Prof. Mahamod as its speakers. After being ceremonially opened on Monday morning, this conference was officially closed on Tuesday afternoon.
