Akhmaloka, in his opening remarks, said that graduates of ITB were expected to be able to give a real contribution to society. He added that he hoped their contributions would not only be in science and technology.
On this occasion, Akhmaloka also congratulated the people of ITB for their achievements from July to October 2010. These proud achievements were made by students, lecturers, and extracurricular units in ITB, one of which was the 17 undergraduates chosen to participate in Indonesian Model United Nations (IMUN) 2010.
