Research Center for New and Renewable Energy (PPEBT) is an organization under the Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) ITB that can play an active role in meeting the challenges of new renewable energy in Indonesia. By synergizing all ITB research potentials in producing EBT technology, providing direction for EBT technology development, and producing and providing real technology from EBT for the benefit of Indonesia, PPEBT ITB is expected to become a leading center for renewable and new energy in Indonesia. The research focus of the organization are Hydro and Wind Turbine, Photovoltaic, Organic Rankine Cycle, Bio Fuel, Biomass, Geothermal Technologies, Coal Upgrading, and Smart Grid.
