The award of Ganesha Prajamanggala Bakti Adiutama was presented to Dr. (HC) Ir. Djoko Kirmanto, Dipl.HE, for his distinguished service and achievements as Minister of Public Works. The same award went to Ex Minister of Industry in the Third Development Cabinet, A.R Soehoed. Soehoed, who was born in Jakarta, 2 March 1920, was also a student army during Japanese colonialism.
Ir. Budi Yuwono Prawirosudirjo, Dipl. SE and Ir. H. Lex Laksamana were awarded Ganesha Prajamanggala Bakti Utama Award for their service and achievements in public sector. In the present, Budi Yuwono serves as Directorate General for Housing, Planning and Urban Development under The Ministry of Public Works, while Lex Laksmana has his contribution as Secretary for Regional of West Java.
Ganesa Wirya Jasa Utama Awarded for Prominent Individuals in Various Sectors
Ganesa Wirya Jasa Utama Award was bestowed to various indivuals having dedicated their service and achievement to support the development of ITB. Erry Riyana Hardjapamekas, who once served as The Vice Chairman of Corruption Eradication Commission, has dedicated his service as one of the founders of ITB School of Business and Management (SBM). This award was also given to Director of Pertamina Ir. Karen Agustiawan and Director of Chevron Ir. Abdul Hamid Batubara, for their devoted service in the development of national energy sector.
The other individuals serving in national energy sector were also given this award. Those are Ir. R. Prijono, currently serving as The Head of BP Migas; Ir. Rinaldi Firmansyah, MBA, Ex General Director of PT Telkom, who rendered service in the development of national telecommunication industry; and Ir. I Made Dana M. Tangkas, Ex General Director of PT Toyota Motor Asia Pacific, who has expanded Indonesian automotive industries.
Ganesa Wirya Jasa Utama Award was also given to Ir. Fazwar Bujang, MM, IPM for his efforts in developing the national steel industries and RJ. Lino for his efforts in developing Indonesian harbors. Fazwar also served as the Director of PT Krakatau Steel, while RJ. Lino served as Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II.
Ganesa Wirya Jasa Adiutama Award was given to Dean of College of Design, Construction and Planning University of Florida, Prof. Christopher Silver, Ph.D., for his service in regional planning and policy development. Other five figures with reputable service in the development of sciences, technologies, and arts were also given the same award. They were F. Silaban; Dr. Martha Tilaar; Andi Wijaya, Apt, Ph.D.MBA.; Dra. Dian Wahdiani Syarief, Apt.; and Drs. Suyadi (Pak Raden 'Si Unyil').
