Approaching Ramadhan, IWK-ITB Held Bazaar

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Approaching toward Ramadan, Ikatan Wanita Keluarga ITB (IWK-ITB) held a bazaar on Thursday (27/06/13). The bazaar was opened at 8 am in the morning at Campus Center Timur Square, ITB. This bazaar was targeted for all of ITB family, like lecturer, students, employee and staff, and the big family of ITB.

 

 There are four category of good comodity sold in the bazaar. The first category is a package of principal daily goods, such as sugar, rice, eggs, instant noodle, palm oil, and wheat flour. This package was undersold. The second category is secondhand goods, like shirts and dress, home equipment, bags, accesories and other goods. The third is new goods, such as bags, foods and beverages, and accesories. While the fourth category is food needs, like syrup, butter, condensed milk, coffee and biscuits.

The bazaar is aimed to build a good relationship between all of the member of ITB families. Also, this bazaar prevents the scarcity of daily goods in the future Ramadan and also anticipates the markup for daily goods that usually occured toward Ramadan.
"Approaching Ramadhan and Ied Fitri, primary principal goods like food needs and clothing will experience a significant markup. Therefore, this bazaar really helps people to face Ramadan. Besides, the goods sold in here have a competitive quality compared to the goods sold out there," said Cucu, a staff of ITB.

"IWK-ITB is a work body of ITB families that runs canteen of borju  (Benny Subianto building) and canteen of West GKU. The profit made in the canteen is a modal for this bazaar to run. We, as IWK-ITB really hope that the bazaar can be a big advantage for ITB families", Yety Sugihartono said, as a head of IWK-ITB.
