BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – The CaseCrafters Team, consisting of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) students, successfully won 1st place in the Network2Grow Business Case Competition 2025 held by dwdg ITS x 180 Degrees ITS, Saturday (15/3/2025).

The team, consisting of Nasywaa Anggun Athiefah (Information System and Technology, 2022), Sebastian Salutare Noel Lumme (Industrial Engineering, 2022), and Rafa Adhi Negoro (Industrial Engineering, 2022), had to go through three stages of competition before being declared the winner.

During the preliminary stage, the team was faced with an FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) (fast-moving consumer goods) case study in the U.S., which aspired to transition into a more sustainable business model. “We proposed the 3EVO solution, focusing on supply chain optimization, product development, and marketing scheme revolution,” stated Rafa.

Entering the semifinal stage, their main focus shifted to designing marketing strategies and determining brand position. Their biggest challenge was to differentiate between competitors that offered a similar value proposition. “We proposed the #3Revolution strategy, which covered the production process up until the business’ sustainability,” said Nasywaa.

In the final round, challenges became more complex, requiring the team to come up with a strategy to increase brand awareness as well as to ensure the sustainability aspect of one of Telkomsel’s programs.

Nasywaa mentioned that the team came up with the #DoubleNEXT solution to increase brand awareness and offer long-term solutions to the company.

The CaseCrafters Team’s advantage over other teams lies in their prior experience in competitions. “From our observations, what really stood out was our extensive experience. Not the experience of winning, but the experience of losing. Because we often lost, we learned a lot about business case competitions,” explained Sebastian.

Their triumph was not achieved easily. “In the beginning, we were quite far from the top 10. We were around 50th-60th place, but at each stage, we always managed to secure a safe position until we reached the top 1 in the final,” said Sebastian.

From this competition, the CaseCrafters Team grasped the importance of structured strategies, time management, and team cooperation. Their success did not come in an instant but as the fruit of failures and continuous learning. With perseverance and strategy evaluation, they finally achieved victory, proving that hard work and team synergy are the main keys to competing.
