BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – To commemorate its 63rd anniversary, Institut Teknologi Bandung scheduled its Dies Natalis ceremony on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at ITB’s West Hall. However, it was held as a hybrid event due to the pandemic.

ITB's 63rd Dies Natalis housed many musical acts like FAD ITB Vivat Acamedica, Ganesha All Moon, ITB Alumni Homeband, ITB Student Choir, and Bram Pattinama + Fisika Tahitu feat. Gajah Junior Children Choir. Hosted by Alga Indria (DP'98) and Vania Herlambang (TK'13), this year’s celebration included talkshow sessions with inspiring, outstanding ITB students and staff.

The ITB Rector, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., announced that this year’s Dies Natalis is the second time such an event was held online. Nonetheless, ITB constantly strives to arrange the event as exciting as its onsite version. “I hope next year we can gather once more and celebrate ITB’s anniversary in-person,” she added.

As part of the program, ITB distributed 358 door prizes from their sponsors and partners to the lucky winners. Moreover, all ITB personnel can take part in the competitions arranged by the committee. 360 works were competing in each category for first place, showcasing talents from different communities. "Thank you all for your enthusiasm and optimism for participating in this event," Prof. Reini voiced her gratitude.

Through the website-building contest, ITB also gave tokens of appreciation by giving Rp 50 million each to the Institute for Research and Community Service (representing Supporting Units) and the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (representing Academic Units). The funds were provided by the Information and Documentation Management (PPID) of ITB.
