The Achmad Bakrie Award, presented annually in August to coincide with Indonesia’s Independence Day celebrations, honors individuals and institutions for their contributions to the nation. Since its inception in 2003, it has become one of the country’s most prestigious awards.
To provide more targeted awards, this year the organizers adjusted the categories into five main areas, which are Social Thought, Arts and Culture, Science and Technology, Health, and Special Awards. These categories are expected to accommodate the diverse forms of contributions from the awardees.
The 2024 Achmad Bakrie XX Awards ceremony will culminate on August 25, 2024, at the Ciputra Artpreneur Theater in Jakarta. This event will be a special moment to celebrate the awardees’ achievements and inspire the younger generation to continue their work and innovations.
