ITB Explores Strategic Collaboration with Singapore Institute of Technology

SINGAPORE, itb.ac.id — Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) continues to strengthen its international network, including through an official visit to the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) in Singapore to explore potential collaboration in education, institutional partnerships, and alumni network development on Wednesday (July 22, 2026).
The ITB delegation was led by Director of Partnerships Dr. Endra Gunawan, accompanied by Director of Alumni Relations and Career Development Prof. Sophi Damayanti, and Head of Subdirectorate at the Directorate of Alumni Relations and Career Development Prof. Ardiyan Harimawan.
The ITB delegation was warmly welcomed by members of SIT’s leadership. The meeting began with opening remarks by Associate Professor Intan Azura Binte Mokhtar, followed by a presentation by Assistant Director JC Tan and a discussion with other SIT representatives.
During the meeting, the two institutions exchanged views on potential areas of collaboration that could be developed in the future. The strategic topics discussed included student exchange programs, the development of double-degree programs, and other forms of academic collaboration that could benefit the academic communities of both institutions.
Both institutions expressed their commitment to maintaining communication and following up on the collaboration opportunities discussed as part of their efforts to strengthen international cooperation in higher education.
Through the visit, ITB reaffirmed its commitment to expanding global partnerships with leading higher education institutions to enhance the quality of education, broaden learning opportunities for students, and strengthen alumni networks capable of creating a positive impact on society, the nation, and the world.
