ITB Jatinangor Campus Welcomes ITB New Students

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - ITB Jatinangor can be considered young. However, that does not mean there is no academic activities on campus that has just turned six years old. On Tuesday (31/05/16), ITB Jatinangor met prospective new ITB students that passed SNMPTN 2016. They gathered at ITB Jatinangor to re-register.

Introducing ITB Multicampus

ITB Campus Jatinangor looks very lively that morning. The arrival of new in 2308 students coincided with the emergence of sunlight behind the mountains that surround the Sumedang District. According to Prof. Mindriany Syafila, MS, Ph.D (Executive Director Admissions Management), the location selection list in ITB Jatinangor SNMPTN made to introduce academic atmosphere Jatinangor. His expectations, both prospective students and parents of students will not feel strange about ITB Jatinangor campus. Facilities available in Jatinangor are also sufficient for the implementation of this re-registration. "No problem with the re-registration. Also with the technical aspects. The Fruit of Hard Work and Hope

In the cool morning, we can see optimistic faces that cannot wait for a new adventure in their life. On the first agenda ITB new students, there are various views with satisfaction. One was from Aditya Syafiq Blue, received at the School of Business and Management. "I felt very happy. Initially it was not too hopeful pass in SNMPTN. But I'd be lying if I did not expect it at all. After studying and praying, I was finally accepted. I'm the happiest person!" he said. Meanwhile, Hafiz Ihsanuddin who was also accepted at SBM ITB gives a realistic view about the world of college. "I hear the lectures world will be busy, especially as a SBM student. Therefore, I must be well prepared," said Hafiz. Adit and Hafiz are two of the 211 lucky students who get accepted at SBM ITB.

Of 2,686 applicants that applied to SBM ITB, only 211 were eventually accepted. The statistics put the SBM as the second most favorite faculty/school, after the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (STEI) with 2,776 registrants. By comparison, STEI ITB has a ratio of 1:12, which means one person is accepted from every twelve applicants. The rank is based on the statistics, the faculties/schools is the most sought FSRD and SAPPK (sequentially) with a ratio of 1:15.
