ITB Student Choir will Hold National and International Choir Competition

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id- As the oldest college choir in Indonesia, ITB Student Choir (PSM-ITB) will hold national- and international-scale choir competition. Located at West Campus Centre, at February 11th 2010, press conference is held to publicize 10th Choir Festival ITB 2010 as PSM-ITB biannual national event and ITB International Choir Competition 2010, the first competition to invite foreign choir group.

As if not enough yet for PSM-ITB to hold national event, PSM-ITB will also enjoin FPS-ITB with ITB International Choir Competition (ITB-ICC). Involving participants worldwide, PSM-ITB even allocated US$ 14.000 development fund for this ITB-ICC

4500 Singers

This festival held in ITB campus, ITB West and East Hall, will approximately include 150 national and international choir team, or 4500 singers. These choir groups will perform for not less than 80 hours and 400 shows.

Drs. Djadji S. Satira, M. Si, as the chairman of ITB Students Bureaucracy and one of the supervisor of PSM-ITB stated that this event is a particular pride for ITB in world class universities relation. "Arts should be developed in international level along with education," he said. One of the international event in ITB, this will boost ITB's image collaborating with national and international choir groups. "This event will test ITB to be equal with other universities.
