BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - A startup fostered by the Director of the Directorate of Science and Technology Area of Institut Teknologi Bandung (DKST ITB), eHealth.co.id, won the Top 3 Best Social Entrepreneurs in the BUMN Foundation Program-Pikiran Terbaik Negeri. The peak of this award event took place on Sunday (8/25/2024) at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta. This agenda was attended directly by the Minister of BUMN, Erick Thohir.
eHealth.co.id is a startup that focuses on providing Electronic Medical Records (RME) for health care facilities in Indonesia. This platform is recognized for its innovation in improving the quality of maternal and child health services through digital solutions.
Erick Thohir also directly visited the eHealth.co.id booth and expressed his appreciation for the contribution of this startup in supporting the national health program.
CEO of eHealth.co.id, Ibrohim, explained that eHealth.co.id is currently running a special program for midwives throughout Indonesia. Through this program, selected midwives will get free access for three months to the RME platform worth IDR 1,500,000.
"This program aims to ease midwives to monitor the health of pregnant women and speed up the medical administration process. In addition, eHealth.co.id also provides training, registration assistance, and integration with the SATUSEHAT government system," he said.
Ibrohim stated that the uniqueness of eHealth.co.id compared to other RME solutions for midwives lies in its flexibility. RME eHealth.co.id can be used at midwives' practice clinics, not only in general public health services, and can handle the entire prenatal, intranatal, and postnatal process. "This provides convenience and efficiency for midwives in providing more comprehensive and sustainable health services," he said.
This RME program is open to all midwives in Indonesia, providing a valuable opportunity for them to improve the quality of health services by using innovative RME technology, which is easily accessible and connected to the SATUSEHAT application. Registration can be done easily through the official website at s.ehealth.co.id/rmebidan. Midwives who meet the criteria will get free access to RME for three months, along with various other supporting facilities.
Erick Thohir expressed his appreciation for the eHealth.co.id initiative as a relevant contribution to the government's efforts to strengthen maternal and child health services.
He emphasized the importance of technological innovation in improving access and quality of health services in Indonesia with the Pikiran Terbaik Negeri program. This program is attended by more than 1,000 social entrepreneurs from various sectors, aiming to find and support entrepreneurs who have a real impact on society. The award received by eHealth.co.id is an acknowledgment of its important role in supporting better and more efficient health services.
With the support of the BUMN Foundation, eHealth.co.id is further strengthening its position as a pioneer in digital health solutions in Indonesia. In the future, eHealth.co.id is committed to continuing to innovate in creating technology that is beneficial for health workers throughout Indonesia, especially in facilitating maternal and child health services.
Ibrohim added that this award will be a motivation for eHealth.co.id to continue providing a positive impact on society. "We hope that through the technology we have developed, midwives throughout Indonesia can easily monitor the health of pregnant women, reduce the administrative burden, and improve the accuracy and quality of medical services," concluded Ibrohim.
