Meteorology Students of ITB Held Atmosphaira Day

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Climate change becomes a hot topic nowadays because it impacts many aspects of life greatly. A slight change in climate could change rainfall and wind velocity in an area, causing unavoidable hydrometeorological hazards. Concerned with the issue, Society of Meteorology Students (HMME) of ITB held Atmosphaira Day seminar titled “The Role of Climate Change to Hydrometeorological Hazards”. About 80 ITB students from various study programs attend GF Seminar Room, 2nd floor of Labtek XI. The event that was held on Saturday (30/09/17) presented speakers of various fields, such as Drs. Zadrach L. Dupe M.Si (Expert in Climate Change, Meteorology of ITB), Dr. Armi Susandi MT (ITB Expert in Climatology), and Budhi Setiawan (Technical Advisor Climate Finance Management UNDP Indonesia).
