Strengthening Academic Ties: ITB Hosts Delegation from Ireland for Potential Collaboration

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – The Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) welcomed a delegation from Ireland today, March 13, 2025 at the International Relations Office (IRO) ITB building. The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations between ITB and leading Irish universities, particularly University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin.

The discussion focused on opportunities for student exchange programs, summer camps, double degree initiatives, and joint research projects. The meeting was also attended by Michael Noble from Noble Solutions and representatives from the Embassy of Ireland in Indonesia, further reinforcing the strong commitment to fostering academic cooperation between the two nations.


Following the meeting, an information session was held for ITB students interested in pursuing further studies in Ireland. The session provided insights into academic programs, university life, and scholarship opportunities offered by Irish institutions. With a range of attractive scholarships available, the event successfully garnered enthusiasm among students eager to broaden their academic horizons.

This visit marks a significant step in ITB’s efforts to strengthen international collaboration and expand opportunities for its students and faculty members in the global academic landscape.
