BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - For the first time ever, the Mathematics Students Association of Institut Teknologi Bandung (HIMATIKA ITB) organized the Mathematics and Actuarial Career Expo (MACE) 2025, held at the ITB CRCS Multipurpose Hall on February 15, 2025.

Themed "From Numbers to Network: Transform Insight into Opportunities," the event aimed to connect students and practitioners to explore career opportunities in mathematics and actuarial science. MACE 2025 was not only open to students from said disciplines but also to those from other disciplines looking to expand their professional networks and insights.

The event featured four main activities. The first one, a workshop themed "Data Science and Analytics: Leveraging Mathematical Skills," equipped participants with practical applications of mathematics in data analytics. They learned techniques for analysis, prediction, and data-based model development using analytical software.

The second activity, CV Consultation, offered participants the opportunity to interact directly with experts on creating professional CVs. Participants also received valuable feedback to increase their career prospects.
