BANDUNG, itb. ac.id- For the new recruitment for Battalion 1, ITB Student Regiment held a training called”Building a Solid Team: Finding Potential Talent and Self Strength” with speaker Abah Rama Royani, Sunday (11/5) at Lecture Hall B BSC B Level 3. The training is held for participants to identify their own potentials, as well as learning how to build a good solid team, said Anggit, leader of the training organizers at the opening.
Abah Rama started the speech with asking a question about paradigm. Paradigm can be defined as polarized thinking, perception angle or assumption. When we have the wrong assumption, then the action taken by the person is also wrong, he elaborated. He talked about success which is the results of ambitions and hard work. The difference between ambition and hard work; ambition is our vision of a future we want for ourselves and work is the reason we are the way we are, and have always been with us.
To achieve success, there is a way and a road, most importantly choosing the right path because once we choose the wrong path it will be difficult to find success. The road to success in comparison to others with doing everything diligently, honestly and finding talent or potential that is suitable with what we want. As humans, we have been given a mind by the Creator to do work and appreciate we have by practicing and making use of what we have within ourselves, say Abah Rama.
In the following session, participants filled the Strength Cluster, to know what their own strengths and weaknesses are. The training was then continued with a simulation of a solid team where every member of the teams had an assigned responsibility suitable with their strengths and capabilities. “IN the team, each person had a commitment with their own potential,’ Abah Rama said. The training was ended with a presentation about the Battalion 1 Student Regiment recruitment.
