Photo Exhibition: "realer raum, bild raum"

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - "Real Space - Room Portrait", so the theme of German art photography that appears in the ITB Soemardja Gallery, 7-25 April 2009. Exhibition with the curator Ute Eskildsen exhibits artist photography of years 90's Susanne Brugger, Thomas Demand and Heidi Specker. Susanne perform eight black and white portrait study discounted the city. Thomas presents seven portraits of constructed interior, colorfull, and large. Heidi with twelve architectural abstract images. They each exhibit works that are generated through three different methods of work, but show the same idea, namely public space.
The emphasis in the title of the exhibition space that are associated with the "reality" and "image" refers to the analysis of specific material on the drawing. This appears in the transformation of space and time into an image that is possible as a result of reproductive potential in photography.

Susanne Brugger is an artist working with the traditional way. He was taking a scenic city which is then processed through a decomposition aerial photo. Ten years later, the process of obtaining a traditional photo award in the high art market.

Photo paper, for Thomas Demand, is a point of departure of choosing image transformation to space in the new image. The Hadi Spencer, using the computer as a new technology that helps process photographical made.

This exhibition is a series of shows titled "Various Aspects The German Art Photography Now", from the Instituts fur Auslandsbeziehungen eV in cooperation with the Goethe Institut Indonesien.
