The event consisted of two series, starting with a pre-event featuring online portfolio tryouts. Then, during the main event, there would be a talk show, workshops, and booths by the 5 HMJ FFAD ITB (student organizations), as well as the Senggol Market, which took place offline at the Center for Art, Design, and Language (CADL), Ganesha Campus ITB, Bandung.

Jessica Sendjaja (Interior Design 2021), the head of the Scientific Management Division and organizer of this activity states that this event aimed to provide support to the students thriving to gain admission to FFAD ITB.

“As students who have previously been successful in passing the portfolio selection stage, we want to provide and create a platform for students who are currently facing challenges. We understand that many students are struggling without access to lessons or opportunities to exchange information,” she explained.

The online tryout for atmosphere drawing was conducted on February 1st - 10th, 2024, with 373 participants from all over Indonesia preparing portfolios for the 2024 Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP) and Test-Based National Selection (SNBT) pathways. Participants also received materials and mentoring to support their preparation process.

The peak of the event was held on March 2nd, 2024, and was attended by mostly high school students and its equivalents who live in Bandung and its surrounding area. There are also a couple of students who came from other cities.

One of the agenda during the peak event was a talk show discussing the tryout results and material with the topic of “Creating Masterpieces as a FFAD ITB Student” which was delivered by Dewi Zahra Safitri (SR’21) and Akmal Maulana (DKV’21). Additionally, there was also a workshop about still life drawing that was presented by Muhammad Rafli Aulia (SR’22) and Akmal Adi Nugroho (DKV’21).
