This program is the first model of a joint program that integrates higher education and cross-border industry experience directly in the development of engineer talent at the master's and doctoral levels. The main focus of this collaboration is the development of a double degree program between ITB and CSU, supported by strategic industry involvement from GEM and SANY.

Through this program, students will receive academic mentors from ITB and CSU, as well as gain professional experience and industry research through direct involvement in GEM and SANY. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the capacity of human resources in the fields of engineering, technology, and industrial innovation, as well as strengthen educational and industrial relations between Indonesia and China.

On this occasion, the Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) Prof. Dr. Ir. Hermawan Judawisastra, M.Eng., and the team; from Central South University, Vice Chair Fu Ganghua, and his team; from SANY Group, Director and Chief Engineer Dai Qinghua and his team, and from GEM, Head Office Prof. Xu Kaihua and his team.
