Two SBM ITB Teams pass National Final Brandstorm L'oreal

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Two teams from the School of Business and Management ITB pass to the fourth big series of national final L'oreal Brandstorm. The two teams, Team Odyssey (Amal, IFAD, and sapphire) and the Ganesha Team(Frank, Arini, and ditto), will compete with teams from the University of Indonesia and Prasetya Mulya Business School. The national winning team will represent Indonesia in Paris.

 

ITB achievement in the history of competition in L'Oreal e-Strat Challenge Business should be thumbed up. Almost every year ITB send representatives. In 2007, ITB Rajawali team successfully won two international awards, the top three international awards and highest SharePriceIndex (SPI, stock prices) in the world in the final competition in Paris.
 
L'oreal Brandstorm is a marketing competition, international scale held by L'oreal. L'oreal Brandstorm marketing theme this year is  perfume products from cosmetics company Maybelline New York.

In the competition each team are required to develop marketing strategies international quality. The strategy starts from the market research, product development, product launching, to a communication strategy such as print ads and TV Commercial.

After passing through three elimination round, the team finalists are required to do a presentation in the final round on next 24 April 2009. Previously, each finalist will get material lecture from  McCann Erickson (Jakarta) marketing practitioners , one of the largest marketing agency in the world headquartered in New York.
