The Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., officially opened *Imagining Modernity: Colonial Archives and The Reimagination of Arts Pedagogy and Cultural Knowledge*, organized by the Center for Indonesian Visual Art Studies (CIVAS), Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) ITB, on Monday (April 21, 2025). The event is being held in a hybrid format—at Soemardja Gallery ITB and via YouTube—over three days, from April 21 to 23, 2025. It marks the launch of a five-year research project by CIVAS, supported by the Dutch Research Council (NWO). In its implementation, CIVAS FSRD ITB collaborates with KITLV, Soemardja Gallery, Culture Hub FSRD ITB as part of a consortium that includes the Rijksmuseum, Integrated Arts UNPAR, ICOMOS Indonesia, and Telkom University.
