ITB Rector Attends the 100th Anniversary of Bandoengsche Technische Hoogeschool Fonds (BTHF), Strengthening Indonesia–Netherlands Educational Collaboration

The Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., attended the 100th anniversary commemoration of the Bandoengsche Technische Hoogeschool Fonds (BTHF) at Aula Barat, ITB Ganesha Campus, on Tuesday (February 10, 2026). This centennial celebration serves as a moment of reflection on BTHF’s long journey in supporting higher education, talent development, and strengthening academic collaboration between Indonesia and the Netherlands.

Prof. Tata stated that reaching a century is not merely a marker of time, but also a reflection of dedication, trust, and commitment across generations. He added that since the early days of Technische Hoogeschool te Bandoeng, BTHF has consistently supported education, nurtured outstanding talents, and believed in human potential. This support has enabled many ITB students to grow into scientists, engineers, innovators, leaders, and public servants who contribute to Indonesia and the world.
