The Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., served as one of the speakers in a fireside chat at the NUS Programme for Leadership in University Management (PLUM) 2025, held on 18–20 November 2025 in Singapore. The session was moderated directly by Prof. Tan Eng Chye, President of the National University of Singapore, and featured other speakers including Attorney Angelo A. Jimenez (President of the University of the Philippines) and Prof. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol (President of Chiang Mai University, Thailand).
The discussion centered on the theme Evolving University Ecosystem. University leaders explored strategies for ensuring that higher education institutions remain relevant amid shifting societal needs and the rapid advancement of AI. By considering the deep interconnections between people, purpose, and space, the session aimed to examine the key elements and systems that support the long-term sustainability of universities, particularly within the ASEAN region.
