ITB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., handed over two laptop units—resulting from a collaboration between ITB, PT Tera Data Indonusa Tbk (Axioo), and Intel—to the Regional Secretary of West Java Province, Herman Suryatman, at the ITB Rectorate Building, Friday (August 1, 2025). The laptops will be used by civil servants (ASN) in the West Java Provincial Government.
These laptops were developed using key components made in Indonesia, including a motherboard designed and manufactured domestically—making them the first of their kind in the country.
The development of the Laptop Merah Putih adopts the latest technology, initiated by the Head of the ITB Microelectronics Center, Ir. Adi Indrayanto, M.Sc., Ph.D.
