BANDUNG, itb.ac.id—Following the 2021-2025 strategic plan, ITB () is currently pursuing a more sustainable transformation of HR (human resource) management by implementing a HCM (human capital management) system. Progress and efforts have been arranged and shared since the midyear. |
Irwan Rei, the managing director of MTI HR Consulting and the consultant of HCM ITB, stated that every organization has its respective goal- the ideal conditions as their aspiration. Hence, transformation is needed if there is a discrepancy between the ideal and current conditions or the methods to minimize the gap is ineffective and inefficient. |
“This does not mean what we are doing right now is wrong. Transformation often happens to fix and strengthen the present system,” he added in the talkshow “NGOBRAS HCM (Ngobrol Bareng Santai Human Capital Management): Aku, Kamu, dan ITB: Mau dibawa kemana?” held on Friday (3/12/2021). |
Irwan then explained that transformation in HCM will have benefits for ITB's work management. With the vision of becoming an outstanding, distinguished, independent, and globally acclaimed university while leading changes that improve the welfare of Indonesia and the world, the measures to reach those goals require a strategic approach using work instruments. |
The ongoing transformation is hoped to help in achieving these aspirations. Besides assisting the organization work, its benefits can support us, whose roles are the driving forces that encourage self-development, compensations, and more to the HR. |
Other speakers were present in the talkshow, namely Prasanti Widyasih Sarli (FCEE ITB professor) and Andhy Widodo (staff of ITB HR Development Unit). The talkshow was led by Hendhy Nansha, a FAD (Faculty of Arts and Design) ITB professor. |
The NGOBRAS HCM ITB talkshow was expected to inform the HCM transformation happening in ITB. Aside from the talkshow, a performance by Dr. Tutun Juhana, S.T, M.T. (Dean of SEEI ITB as well as the winner of ITB Stand-Up Comedy), a quiz session, and door prizes were held during the event.
