BANDUNG, itb.ac.id- Monday (14/5) was the last day Prof. Maman A. Djauhari carried out his responsibilities as Chairperson of ITB Head Masters’ Council (MGB). The handing over of MGB office event was short and simple, taking place at Scientific Meeting Hall at 11.0O WIB. The event was started off by a short speech by Prof. Maman followed by signing and handover of MGB’s leading office. Prof. Harijono A. Tjokonegoro is the figure that will now carry the responsibilities of leading the institute which builds the academic life, moral integrity as well as ethics in the ITB academia. He is no new character in MGB, as he had served as MGB secretary prior to becoming Chairperson. After signing the report, the new chairperson was invited to give a short speech followed by a short speech given by head of MWA, Prof. Dr. Haryanto Dhanutirto, Academic Senate Head and closed by a short speech by ITB Rector. At 12.30 WIB, the event ended with a well wishing speech from the event attendees to Prof. Harijono A. Tjokronegoro as new MGB Chairperson for the period of 2008-2013.
