ITB and Osaka Metropolitan University to Collaborate on Education and Research

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) welcomed the delegations from Osaka Metropolitan University in Room Rapim A, ITB Rectorate Building, on November 6, 2024. This visit aimed to discuss various cooperation schemes to strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions.
On the occasion, Vice President of Osaka Metropolitan University, Prof. Toshiyuki Matsui, had a discussion with the Head of ITB Partnership Bureau, Prof. Dr. Taufiq Hidayat, and his team. They conversed about the campus, study programs, faculties, and the like for any possible future collaborations.
Moreover, the two parties talked through the potential for undergraduate student exchange programs, as well as collaborative research in technology, nanotechnology, and other topics.
The visit was to be followed up with subsequent visits to detail prospective programs. This was conducive to improving the quality of education and research at both institutions, as well as international student mobility, publications, networking, and cooperation.
Osaka Metropolitan University's visit to ITB was a major stepping stone to realize a comprehensive and sustainable collaboration. It was expected to benefit the two institutions, including students and the general public.
