ITB Hosts DPR RI's PPID Visit, Strengthens Collaboration to Enhance Public Information Services

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – The Information and Documentation Management Officer of Institut Teknologi Bandung (PPID ITB) welcomed a delegation from the PPID of the Indonesian People's Representative Council (DPR RI) on Thursday (18/7/2024) in the Rapim A Room, Rectorate Building, Tamansari Street, Bandung.
The purpose of the visit was to study in-depth the public information management system currently implemented by ITB, as well as to establish cooperation aimed at improving information transparency within higher education.
The DPR RI PPID delegation was received by Dr. Naomi Haswanto, M.Sn., Head of ITB's Communication and Public Relations Bureau, and Usep Mulyana, S.Sos., MAP, Head of the Bureau of Administrative Affairs and Information.
The visit included a series of discussions on the implementation of Public Information Openness (KIP) and the exchange of information regarding best practices related to public information management and services.
In his remarks, Usep Mulyana, S.Sos., MAP, emphasized ITB's strong commitment to the principles of information transparency. "Thank you for your visit. We hope this opportunity allows us to share and learn together about the best practices in information openness," he stated.
This visit also provided both institutions with the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge on public information management. It is anticipated that the insights gained will serve as a model for other universities to enhance the quality of their public information management systems.
