BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - The team of Information and Documentation Management (PPID) Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) continuously committed to improve the quality of information services to the public. Various innovations have been launched in 2023-2024. These innovations aim to facilitate accessible information, increase transparency, and encourage public participation.

The PPID Assistant for Information Provision who is also the Head of Data, Information, and Documentation Section of the Bureau of Administrative Affairs and Information, Fivien Nur Savitri, S.T., M.T., said that the innovation of public information disclosure was carried out to provide convenience and increase added value for ITB.

"In general, there are 6 innovations divided into 4 groups, namely Service Digitalization; Transparency and Public Participation; One-Stop Integrated Service, and One Data Digital Transformation," she said on Tuesday (6/8/2024).

1. Service Digitalization

PPID ITB has developed several online platforms to facilitate public access to information. Innovations in terms of service digitalization include:

First, the ease of getting online services through https://ult.itb.ac.id. This platform allows users to get various ITB services online. Starting from administrative management to academic information. Everything can be easily accessed through one portal. The offline service for this is the ITB Information Center IC-ITB (read: I See ITB) which is located at Ganesha Campus ITB.

Second, online queues via https://antrean.ult.itb.ac.id. This innovation enables no-queues when people want to take care of various needs directly through IC-ITB. Thus, people who are located near or far from ITB can order service tickets at IC-ITB well in advance on the days and times available on the page to get direct information services at ITB.

2. Transparency and Public Participation

PPID ITB pays close attention to the importance of transparency and public participation. Therefore, various features have been developed to facilitate the collection of data and documents online. Innovations in terms of transparency and public participation include:

First, Sapa Data ITB (https://sapadata.itb.ac.id). This platform provides various online forms that can be used for questionnaires, attendance lists, minutes of activities, and others. This makes it very easy to collect data and involve the public in various ITB activities.

Second, API Data-Lake ITB (https://pusat.satudata.itb.ac.id). Through API (Application Programming Interface), PPID ITB facilitates integration between internal applications and units at ITB. This allows data in ITB to be accessed and further processed by various interested parties.

3. Integrated One-Stop Service

This service is in the form of the ITB Information Center (IC-ITB). IC-ITB is a gathering place for service officers from across working units at ITB. With the presence of IC-ITB, coordination between working units becomes easier and services can be carried out more effectively to the public.

4. One Data Digital Transformation

Another innovation carried out by PPID ITB is the development of an integrated data ecosystem through Satu Data ITB (https://satudata.itb.ac.id). Satu Data ITB aims to give data that is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to all interested parties.

"Satu Data ITB was (built) to realize a data ecosystem that is integrated, accurate, and accessible to all interested parties through https://satudata.itb.ac.id. The goal is for data to be collected in one place, integrated, accurate, and accessible to anyone who has an interest. The public can also access it," she said.

With various innovations that have been carried out, PPID ITB continues to strive in embodying effective and transparent information services. The public can now easily access the information they need.
