JATINANGOR, itb.ac.id – Canteens are an integral part of the ITB academic community, including the Jatinangor Campus. Beyond being a place to enjoy meals, canteens serve as hubs for social activities and gatherings among the academic community. Recognizing the significant role of canteens for campus residents, ITB Jatinangor Campus continues to develop this facility, including enhancing the quality of the existing canteens.
An example is the GKU 2 Canteen at ITB Jatinangor Campus. This canteen is equipped with facilities that meet high standards, emphasizing cleanliness and comfort for visitors. Several trash bins are placed throughout the canteen, and cleaning staff ensure its cleanliness. This canteen operates with a modern, self-service system, offering a variety of menu options at student-friendly prices.
In addition to being a dining and relaxation spot, the largest canteen at ITB Jatinangor Campus is also an ideal place for students to interact, discuss, collaborate, and engage in various activities.
Hence, ongoing developments at ITB Jatinangor Campus take into account the needs of the academic community, including canteen facilities. Additional amenities are continuously added, such as improving canteen facilities, introducing food trucks, and setting up an ATM center in the vicinity. Besides the Mezzanine GKU 2 Canteen, other canteens serving the academic community are located on the Ground Floor of the ITB Jatinangor TB-1 Dormitory and the Al Wasath Prayer Room.
Beyond permanent canteens, mobile canteens in the form of food trucks offer a convenient option for quick and delicious meals. Positioned at three different strategic locations, including in front of GKU 1 and the parking lots of ITB Jatinangor TB-4 and TB-5 Dormitories, these food trucks enhance accessibility through designated yellow line markings.
ITB Jatinangor Campus has also introduced vending machines that provide a variety of cold beverages at several accessible points for the academic community. This initiative not only ensures that ITB's academic community enjoys quality food but also creates an environment that supports learning and interaction beyond the classroom.
Continuous innovation is at the core of providing the best experience for the ITB academic community, meeting their needs and expectations as they lead a dynamic academic life.
