Nabila Yasmin's Inspirational Story: The Sweet Fruit of Struggle and Self-Acceptance Leading to Winning the Gen 45 Scholarship
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id — Obtaining a scholarship is not easy. Behind every beneficiary, there is undoubtedly a long struggle filled with dedication.
This is precisely what happened to Nabila Yasmin, a student from the Faculty of Art and Design of Institut Teknologi Bandung (FAD ITB), who succeeded in winning the Gen 45 scholarship.
This success is not only the result of her talents and interests but also the outcome of her struggle and perseverance in pursuing education as well as self-development.
Initially, she didn't expect to receive the scholarship. Moreover, the selection process is quite strict, with scholarship applicants having to compete with numerous individuals.
"I was surprised, I didn't expect it because there were so many talented applicants," she said on Thursday (14/3/2024).
She was also grateful because she managed to obtain the scholarship. Nabila admitted that she had experienced financial difficulties, including the costs for art projects, with amount of which is not small.
However, this did not stop her from it. She persistently applied for scholarships from the beginning of her studies at ITB. Even though she failed, this did not make her give up.
Nabila continued to try to register for various scholarship programs. This certainly demonstrates extraordinary effort in pursuing education. Until finally, her struggle bore sweet fruit.
Receiving the Gen 45 scholarship was a turning point in her educational journey. Not only about financial assistance, according to her, this scholarship also provides many opportunities for her to participate in training, mentoring, and coaching, which are very valuable for her academic and professional development in the future.
"With the help of this Gen 45 scholarship, I can get closer to my dream of continuing my further education," she said.
"This is a great advantage for me to achieve my goals and develop myself further," she continued.
Nabila Yasmin's success is a reflection of the spirit of never giving up and perseverance, which is part of every student's journey. Through her struggles, she has proven that with hard work and persistence, dreams can be reached, and obstacles can be overcomed.
Nabila is a real example of how persistence leads to brilliant achievements, and an inspiration for many people not to give up on pursuing their dreams.
