PATRAÂ’s Anniversary Night: Alumni Gathering Event in the Celebration of 50th Years of PATRA

This event was opened by an opening speech by William Suhartono as The Head of PATRA's Anniversary Night Event. William welcomed the alumni, and also shared his expectation of this event. "I hope this alumni gathering in this Anniversary Night event can also be a big step for PATRA to develop," said William.
The main concept of this Anniversary Night was alumni gathering indeed. Presented in joint celebration, all of PATRA's member from the first batch, who were ITB's 1963s, recent alumni who have just been graduated, until active member who are still students were mingled in this merry event. "This event is held as an event for alumni to have fun and partying together, celebrating the anniversary of PATRA," said Jane (Petroleum Engineering 2010), the event coordinator.
Nazaruddin Mahmud, the first chairman of PATRA who was also the pioneer, was also attending this Anniversary Night. Beside Nazaruddin, former chairman of PATRA from its early decades from various cities were also attending this event. Priambodo, the third chairman of PATRA who runs PATRA in 1965-1966, appreciated all the member of PATRA who always keep this student's organization's existence for decades. In his short speech, Priambodo also admitted that his experience as an active member of PATRA became one of his encouragement to achieve good performance in his career. "The experiences which I gained in PATRA have become one of my assets in my career," said Priambodo. Priambodo also advised the member of PATRA who are still students to use their youth to actively participate in student's organization's activities.
As an alumni gathering event, the alumni also had dinner together accompanied by music performances by Band of PATRA. Besides having dinner together and the cake cutting procession, this Anniversary Night was also used as a socialization of community development activity. The community development activity was taken place in Kasepen Village on the following day, and was one of the PATRA's 50th anniversary celebration events.
