Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystem with ITB Students

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystem is not easy, but that is not an issue for students of SBM ITB. On Wednesday (6/12/2017), together with LPiK ITB, SBM ITB students held innovative products exhibition at Multipurpose Hall, CRCS Building ITB.
Besides introducing innovative products by students through exhibition, the event was also a place to share entrepreneurial knowledge through seminar which carried out the theme Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. The seminar presented capable speaker in entrepreneurship and received warm response from students.
Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Partnership, Prof. Bambang Riyanto was present to open the event. As a part of activities toward entrepreneurial university, the event is expected to produce many young entrepreneurs.
At 16 stands displayed, visitors could find products of fashion, foods, and beauty. Caren, a student in his fourth semester in Management in SBM ITB is concerned with the importance of natural ingredients in beauty products such as masker and scrub.
At the other stand, there could be found the exotic of cenderawasih bird from Papua that stays charmly on a beach shirt by ‘Besok Kamis’. There was also Yagutu, a crunchy and tempting snack made from chicken skin and served in salted egg flavor.
The seminar was concluded with a presentation from Dr. Ir. Djoko Sardjadi, a lecturer of Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering who said that the growth of Industry in developing countries such as Indonesia still require the cooperation of many parties.
