Recommend Creative Entrepreneurship Through Creativepreneurship Seminar

BANDUNG , itb.ac.id - KM ITB held an entrepreneurship seminar at the Central Library on Friday (14/02/14) . The seminar, titled Creativepreuneur, lasted from 3 to 6 p.m. with the speakers Ben WIrawan (founder Mahanagari) and Muhammad Ajie Santika (CEO Tinker Games). Creativepreneur seminar was one of a series of pre - event from the main event, ITB Entrepreneur Festival 2014 (E-Fest) which took place on Sunday (23/02/14).
Sheila Amalia (Architecture 2012), the chairman of the committee said that the implementation Creativepreneur event aimed to provide education for the students, especially ITB students, about the concept of creative entrepreneurship. What's more, creative entrepreneurship has been growing rapidly nowadays, for example in the field of fashion and culinary. By convening Creativepreneur , it was expected the students motivated to learn more and go directly into the field of entrepreneurship. Interest of students to this event is also quite high. Seminar participants did not only come from the ITB, but also from several other universities such as University of Padjadjaran and University of Parahyangan. During the seminar, about 100 participants have given the knowledge of setting up and running a business. They were also equipped with a variety of creative experiences for business speakers. In addition to education, the event was held to provide an opportunity for ITB students who already have a business to business market in the Expo at the summit.

Boost Entrepreneurship through E - Fest

Creativepreneur seminar was one of the three series of pre-event to welcome the E - Fest, a festival of entrepreneurship which is going to be held every two years. This year was the first year of E-Fest. At the peak of the event which took place on February 23, there would be held the exhibition with a grand business seminar that brought together students with investors. Implementation of E-Fest focused on the development of a variety of businesses that have been owned and run by students of ITB.

Sheila hoped the series of pre-event and E - Fest would be able to make the students familiar entrepreuneurship deeper. He also hoped that more students were stimulated to plunge into the field of entrepreneurship. In addition, a series of entrepreneurial events could be regarded as a container that has been getting ready to develop the students' capability in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which will take place in 2015.
