Rector of ITB held Open House on the First Day of Shawwal

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – The 1st Shawwal of 1439 H falls on Friday (15/6/2018). Rector of ITB, Prof. Kadarsah Suryadi held open house on the Rector’s Guest House on Jalan Dago, Bandung. He and other ITB executives warmly welcomed the guests during the open house.
Students, lecturers, and staffs of ITB had come early since 7 o’clock as on duty officials who organized the open house. Some were students who either live in Bandung, did not go back to their hometown, or did not observed Eid.
Before the open house began, Prof. Kadarsah observed Eid prayer on West Campus Center Field. Afterwards, he went to the guest house, which can be accessed directly from inside the campus or from Jalan Dago.
The open house was held to give the chance for ITB academicians and general public to meet and greet the Rector. ITB’s Vice Rector of Resources and Organization, Prof. Irawati, accompanied the Rector to greet guests who were dominated by ITB students, lecturers, staffs and their families who live in Bandung. Some guests even came to the open house before going back to their hometown.
One of ITB executives, the Director of Education of ITB, Dr. Yuli said he went to the open house with his family before going back to Semarang. Other ITB professors, vice rectors, and executives such as Director of Human Resources, Suharto, and Director of Facilities, Dr. Wahyu Srigutomo.
Food specific to Eid such as Ketupat, opor ayam, and snacks from Kuningan, the hometown to Prof. Kadarsah, were also available on during the open house. The open house ended on 1 p.m.
