BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – The Chairperson of the ITB Campus Ambassador Selection Committee 2024, Anisa Mahadewi, stated that this year's selection process adhered to several core values established by previous ambassadors. The selection journey for the ITB Campus Ambassador 2024 spanned several months, starting from February and culminating in June 2024.

The selection process began with registration and document screening from February 26 to March 2024. Over 200 students applied, and 61 were selected to proceed. The distribution of successful candidates included 14 from ITB Jatinangor, 7 from ITB Cirebon, and 40 from ITB Ganesha.

The second stage involved a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on March 24, 2024, with 60 participants, 37 of whom passed. These candidates then moved on to the interview stage on April 21, 2024.

In the fourth stage, the 37 remaining participants undertook the Campaign Challenge from April 29 to May 15. Following this, the fifth stage included a quarantine and training period from June 19 to 24, 2024. Each day during this stage featured various activities, including material briefings to understand the ITB Campus Ambassador role, physical tests, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) training by the Tanoto Foundation, grooming, beauty, and fashion guidance from Paragon Technology, parental support for enhancing educational quality by the ITB Parent Association, and public speaking and catwalk training. The quarantine period concluded with a talent show by each participant.

During the Grand Final Night of the ITB Campus Ambassador Selection, participants underwent a public test. Moving forward, the selected campus ambassadors will collaborate to implement ideas with partners and support ITB’s overall programs.

The selected roles include:

  • International Ambassador: Focuses on collaborations with foreign entities.
